SVC Goes Public

Some of the Swiss Virtual Campus projects showed their work on a media presentation on April 18 2002 in Bern. Topic of the event was: "Do we invest enough money on the think tank Switzerland?" In their speeches, Federal Councillors Dreifuss and Couchepin stood up for more governemental money for education and research.
During the event there were stands presenting several projects of universities. The Swiss Virtual Campus was represented by the projects "Nanoworld", "Antiquit@s", "Systems Theory for the Social Sciences", "Get involved in Corporate Finance", "Objective Earth, a Planet to Discover", "Web Based Training in Medical Embryology".
